The European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU provides mandatory guidance for the design, manufacturing, and conformity assessment of pressure equipment with a maximum allowable pressure above 0.5 bar. The directive came into force on 20 July 2016, requiring that all pressure equipment placed or sold on the European market must bear a CE marking and be accompanied by a Declaration of Conformity.
To ensure compliance with PED 2014/68/EU, conformity assessments must be carried out and certified by a Notified Body. PRVÁ ZVÁRAČSKÁ, a. s. is a Notified Body (NB 2408) for the Pressure Equipment Directive and performs conformity assessments necessary for your equipment’s certification.
