The European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU provides mandatory guidance for the design, manufacturing and conformity assessment of pressure equipment with a maximum allowable pressure above 0.5 bar.
The directive entered into force on 20 July 2016 by which all Pressure Equipment to be placed/sold on the European market, to which the company must have a CE marking and a declaration of performance must be available.
In order to achieve compliance with PED 2014/68/EU, the pressure equipment conformity assessment must be carried out and certified by a Notified Body, PRVÁ ZVÁRAČSKÁ, a. s. is an accredited Notified Body for Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and can perform the conformity assessments needed for your equipment’s certification.
Our conformity assessments are performed through a variety of procedures, that can be applied depending on the category of the pressure equipment.
Notified/Accredited Modules: A2, B, C2, D, D1, E, E1, F, G, H, H1 approval of permanent joining procedures Annex I, 3.1.2 of Directives 2014/68/EU.
