2014/29/EU- Simple Pressure Vessels
This directive applies to simple pressure vessels manufactured in series. Under this directive, a simple pressure vessel means any welded vessel subjected to an internal gauge pressure greater than 0.5 bar intended to contain air or nitrogen but not intended to be fired.
Simple pressure vessels can pose a danger to human safety if not handled and assessed properly. Therefore, the European Directive for Simple Pressure Vessels 2014/29/EU (SPVD) regulates that all simple pressure vessels connected to the European Union market must be certified by a notified body.
PRVÁ ZVÁRAČSKÁ, a. s. is an accredited Notified Body for the certification of products, systems under the Simple Pressure Vessels Directive 2014/29/EU and can perform the conformity assessments needed for your equipment’s certification.
