EN 15085 Certification
Welding of Railway Vehicles & Components
EN 15085 Certification is an internationally recognised quality requirements for the welding of railway vehicles and railway components. It demonstrates controlled fabrication, qualified welding coordination, validated welding procedures, and production traceability ensuring compliant, reliable and high-quality welded products for the global railway industry.
About the Standard
What is EN 15085 Certification?
EN 15085 is the internationally recognised standard for the welding manufacturer of railway vehicles and components. It specifies quality requirements, ensuring consistent quality, safety and reliability.
EN 15085 applies to rolling stock manufacturers (OEM of locomotives, coaches and wagons including metro coaches), components and assemblies.
PZ is an accredited/recognized Manufacturer Certification Body (MCB), recognized by the European Committee for Welding of Railway Vehicles (ECWRV) to certify EN 15085 – Welding of Railway Vehicles and Components.
The certificates are being issued from PRVÁ ZVÁRAČSKÁ, a. s. Slovakia Republic for all countries. Upon satisfactory review, the organization’s certification will be registered on the ECWRV website www.joincert.eu
.
