EN 10025-1 Certification
Hot Rolled Products of Structural Steels
EN 10025-1 Certification is proof that your structural steel products meet the required standards of materials quality, mechanical properties, chemical composition and manufacturing in Europe. The certification is evidence of your company’s ability to deliver reliable and compliant structural steel for various applications such as construction, engineering, energy and fabrication projects.
About the Standard
What is EN 10025-1?
EN 10025-1 is the standard that specifies the general technical delivery conditions of steel products used in construction and infrastructure works, heavy engineering works and industrial purposes. The standard sets out requirements for material characteristics, manufacturing process, inspection, testing and documentation to guarantee the quality and compliance with recognized European standards of these steel products.
Unlike the standards that are related to fabrication or welding processes, EN 10025-1 relates to the structural steel products and their characteristics only. This standard provides specifications for steel grade, mechanical properties, chemical composition, dimensional tolerance, material testing, inspection and Mill Test Certificate (MTC).
This standard is well recognized among the steel manufacturers, structural fabricators, engineering companies, and construction materials suppliers. The certification shows the reliability, technical compatibility and competence of structural steel products’ provision according to European standards.
